This is a great workout technique, that is sure to dramatically increase your gains...no matter what goals they might be.
Some may know of this technique already, some may not...so I will explain it, and how to use it.
It is called supersets.
Supersets are...two exercises done, with one "right after the other"...with no rest in between.
It may sound like a simple thing....
It may seem like that will not make a big difference....
If you think that, you would be very wrong.
This simple change, this simple technique...can make you burn tremendous amounts more bodyfat during workouts, can really accelerate muscle growth if that is what you are after, can dramatically increase strength and muscular endurance...which helps everywhere....
Supersets are a technique that you have to try, if you are after renewed progress....fast progress...
Most people that do know about supersets, do them occasionally...or think of them as a 'shock" technique to be used once-in-a-while.....
I'm here to tell you they have MUCH more value than that.
They have extreme value, both in the versatility they can bring to your routines, and the incredible intensity they bring to your normal workouts.
And the fat-burn response from supersets...is off the charts.
Supersets...will...take you to the next level if used on a regular basis.
I am suggesting basing your entire workouts around supersets for 12 weeks...just 3 months.
The gains you will see from structuring your workouts in this way will surprise you...to say the least.
It would not surprise me at all if it gives you the best gains of your life.
There are many, many, many ways to superset.
You can superset the two exercises on one single bodypart, such as bench press and flyes together... or you can superset bodyparts that compliment each other, like biceps and triceps.
The ways are only limited by your imagination....
Here are some examples.
(remember, these exercises are done together, back-to-back with NO rest in between)
For COMPLIMENTING bodyparts....
Pull-ups & dips....
Pull-ups & standing overhead press for shoulders...
Rows & bench press...
Curl & tricep press...
Dumbbell chest flyes & lateral raises for shoulders....
And on, and on....just think of all the possible combinations for bodyparts that work together.
Doing a workout in this fashion will cut your time...increase your intensity, and get incredible fat burn...
For THE SAME bodypart.....
Chest flyes & bench press....
Standing curl & concentration curl....
Lateral raises & overhead presses.....
Pull-ups and rows....
Dumbbell chest press & push-ups....
And on, and on, and on....only limited by what you can put together in your mind.
Supersets like these, work the muscles from different angles, use different "lines of force" across your body forcing it to work as a unit, fatigues a muscle quickly and thoroughly, and makes a workout intense and efficient.
Do not, only use this as a "once in a while" technique...
Base your workouts around it....give it a 3 month "chance"....
Try different combinations.....
Shake up your workouts, make them interesting again....
Figure out what combinations work the best for you, give them some time, and be SHOCKED at what you can really accomplish.
Your reflection in the mirror after 12 weeks....may even surprise YOU.
NOW...go get it DONE.
