What if I told you, that I could GUARANTEE you would make ALL of your fitness goals, if you arranged your training a certain way....would you listen ??
If you could KEEP how you train, and just change how your training is arranged, and make ALL of your goals...would you do it ??

If the answer is YES....keep on reading.

Reaching ALL of your fitness goals that you set for yourself, is as simple as understanding only ONE concept, understanding only ONE ideal, understanding only ONE new way of looking at it.

That way.....that will get you to EVERY fitness goal you have.....is as simple as "baby steps".

As a matter of fact....that way.....IS....."baby steps".

Not taking "baby steps" is exactly where we go wrong. We get greedy, we want it faster. We feel good, we feel strong, we feel we can make "big leaps" to get to our goals....because we are awesome.
Well, it will not work that way.....

If I asked you to jump across the stream pictured at the top of the page, and it did not have the "stepping stones" that you see in the picture....you would say it was impossible.
If there were only 3 or 4 stones going across, you would still say it was almost impossible.
If there were only half the stones that are in the picture, you would be taking big leaps....you may make it, you may fall in the water. (not reach your goal)
But with the "stepping stones" close together, as they are in the picture....you can see....even a little child could cross. (with their parent of course)
Even a little child could make it across, make it to his goal.

So WHY.....WHY......WHY.....are you taking "big leaps" to try and advance your fitness ???

If I took your "leaps" and turned them into "baby steps"....and GUARANTEE that you got to your goals....would you keep doing it that way ???

Sure it may take a bit longer, but, would you rather have the POSSIBILITY of failing, of not making your goals, of maybe getting frustrated and giving up ???
Or would you rather be a bit patient, and be GUARANTEED TO SUCCEED ????

I think the "guaranteed success" would easily be the winner in that race.

It is SO EASY to arrange your training into "baby steps"....you will be wondering, even maybe getting a bit angry with yourself....why you didn't do it a LONG time ago.

Let's say you wanted to improve your bench press....as alot of people do. Most people do not follow a "baby step" schedule, most people get a "routine" of a certain number of "sets & reps"....say, 3 sets of 10.....and they do that over and over and over until they feel they are strong enough to add weight. (usually much too much, for one jump-up)
If they make it, they are ecstatic, if they miss it, they are depressed....and go back to their routine. (that didn't work the first time.)

NOW, here's the 'baby step" version.
You take your "routine"...say....the same 3 sets of 10.... THIS time though, you make it a POINT, a PRIORITY to take "little steps" and succeed.
Instead of doing the same routine over and over until you feel "strong enough"....you set it up like this....
3 sets of 10 for the week (as usual),
the NEXT week you WILL do 3 sets of 11 reps (for 1 week),
the NEXT week you WILL do 3 sets of 12 reps (for 1 week).....you continue like this until you are at 3 sets of 15 reps.

At that point....you WILL be able to add weight to your bench press, because of your "baby steps" of progressive, NO FAIL progress EVERY WEEK.

You will add weight, you will go back to 3 sets of 10 from the added weight...but now you are STRONGER, your "3 sets of 10" is done with MORE weight now.
And you start the same progression again....10 reps for a week, 11 reps the next week, 12 the next....etc.

You should be able to continue your "baby steps"....never failing at ALL....until you reach your goal or your potential.
THIS method will not fail, cannot fail.....

You may feel like you can go faster, you may feel like you can "skip steps".....but that will only work until it doesn't, until you FAIL to improve, and you stagnate and get frustrated.
It happens to everyone....I bet it has happened to you before.....

WHY do this to yourself, when you can see a path at which you CANNOT FAIL ???

It is so simple it is ridiculous.
It is so simple that people think "it cannot work" like that.

It is so simple, but yet....no-one does it. They get greedy, they want to go faster.....they are better than the simple "baby steps".......
And that is exactly where we ALL go wrong......that is EXACTLY where we make our mistake, and go off track.

The track to the ultimate success of every goal, the track it is impossible to fail at.....

It works the same way with losing weight....or with cardio.

If you want to lose weight, or are on a cardio routine......
How hard is it to go up ONLY  "1 minute" per week on your cardio routine ???
How hard would it be to go up ONLY  "1 difficulty setting"  per week ???
How hard is it to have a goal of losing ONLY ONE POUND per week ???
Do you think you could go up only 1 minute in your time, or only 1 "setting" per week ???

You could probably do it easily......

Well, one difficulty setting per week....would have you rocking the "mountain" settings in no time....with fantastic progress.
With losing 1 pound per week.....you would lose over 50 POUNDS in a year.

Is THAT progress you would like ???
How much would you like it if you COULD NOT FAIL ???

How much would you like waking up every morning....KNOWING that your fitness goals WOULD BE a success ???
How much would you like being GUARANTEED TO SUCCEED ???

Well you can be....
Actually you ARE.....

All it takes is a little patience.....and some "baby steps".....
